COMING IN NOVEMBER: CZECH PLEASE! – WILMINGTON – MILLSBORO - NEW YORK

Glorious chamber works by Antonin Dvorak headline the Serafin calendar in November. The ensemble brings his beloved String Quartet, Op. 96 (The American) and the delightful "Terzetto" for two violins and viola, along with Three Madrigals by Bohuslav Martinu for violin and viola. The program for two, three, and four string players is rich in infectious rhythm and hummable melodies, characteristic of these Slavic masters. Performing will be violinists Eric Pritchard and Kate Ransom, violist Adelya Shagidullina, and cellist Jacques-Pierre Malan. The Serafins will perform this program at Baywood Clubhouse in Millsboro, DE (Thursday, 11/12 at 5:30pm, followed by a reception with the artists); at Grace UMC downtown Wilmington (Friday, 11/13 at 7pm); and, in New York on the Music at the Gate series in Queens (Sunday, 11/15 at 4pm). SERAFIN GUEST BARTENDER NIGHT AT BBC TAVERN
Wednesday, 12/9/2026, from 6-9pm
We had so much fun with our friends last year that we look forward to celebrating the festive season together again this year. Patrons, musicians, friends, and volunteers will gather for a night of fun and frolic, including another raffle of our popular "Basket of Cheer" and a line up of guest bartenders from many corners of the community. BEETHOVEN'S BIRTHDAY BASH
Wednesday, 12/16/2026, at Grace UMC at 7pm
On the master's birthday, Serafin's Steinway Artist, Victor Asuncion at the piano will be joined by cellist Charae Krueger and violinist Kate Ransom for an all-Beethoven program followed by a reception including cake. It promises to be a sweet evening of music, camaraderie, and cake - in celebration of the "greatest composer of all time". Tickets are available now HERE.
